Fuzzy Wuzzy

Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear er I mean a boy.
Fuzzy Wuzzy lost his hair.
Then Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy was he?

Ok so this is the biggest "different" thing I have come across about having a boy, so far. All of the my other kids' first haircuts consisted of a quick snip of the bangs.

It was extremely difficult. He wouldn't be still. I let him chew on an apple to keep him entertained. That didn't help much. And there was just so much to cut. It wasn't even by any means. Today, I had to fix it. and I learned how to make it easier and more enjoyable for the both of us. I set him in the kitchen sink with the warm water turned on a little while he played with it. That way he was being still and I wasn't afraid of dropping the hair on him becuase I could just rinse it off. It was much easier to get it even.

What a handsome boy.

Nothing of consequence

Another one of those posts I am making myself do because I can't think of anything interesting and therefor must post something.

Liam is eating up yummy avocado goodness. He is eating a whole avocado and more if it is available.

Why avocado for six month old you ask? Well perhaps you have not heard that it is one of the best healthiest foods you can start your baby on.

Well actually this is the first baby that I have started on avocados and they are great!

He also took a drink of my lemonade today. No he wasn't suppose to and it wasn't a good thing, however Liam has not googled lemonade to find out that he shouldn't have any now he is a fussy baby boy.

My dad

I wish I had a baby pic of my dad. I don't even think there is one in existence. Liam's expressions remind me of my dad a lot. The best I could do is a pic from when my dad was about 8 years old.

Liam:

My dad:

Then, again, he seems to have my nose. This was 1st or 2nd grade so 7 or 8.

Edited to add this little photography note: Notice my dad's eyes in the second picture compared to my eyes in the third picture. Do you see how his eyes seem to be the focus of the picture where as it seems my nose is the focus in the picture of me? Do you see how his eyes look more round and you can seen more white under the edges of the color? That is why it is best to take a picture of someone from slightly above their eye line. It makes their eyes stand out more and makes for a better portrait. Make sure you are only slightly above though, you don't want to be looking down on them. Now if you will look at the pic of liam you can see the "flat tire" look of the eyes if you take it from slightly below their eye line but since I intended it as just a snap shot and not a portrait, I refuse to lose brownie points for that shot.

Liam's 4 month check up

Wow! A whopping 18 and half pounds and 27 and half inches long.

Big boy.

And a pic. He was more interested in the christams balls than the camera.

Photoshoot for Christmas card

I don't know yet what I want my Christmas card to look like this year but I have started on the pictures. Here are a few I have taken of Gennifer and Heather.

And here is one I just love because of the look on liam's face.

A couple more pics

All of the kids together.(Gonna have to get used to not saying "all of the girls")

Liam's photo catch up

One week old. Looking at momma.

Two weeks old showing off with Heather.

Three weeks old.Just after a bath. Wait haven't we seen that outfit before.(actually I didn't realized I liked that outfit so much until I started looking for pictures to post and realized he has so many pictures taken in that outfit.)

One month. Chill'n out. Of course chill'n was no longer the mood after ump-teen pictures and a few outfit changes so we will just go with the chill'n picture.

Liam's six week check up

I took liam for his six week check up today. He weighs a whopping 14 pounds! I couldn't believe he weighed so much.

Actually to be more percise he weighed 13 pounds 15.6 ounces. If he hadn't have spit up that last time before they weighed him, he would have topped the scale at 14 pounds. hee hee. He is 26 inches long.

I didn't think of taking his picture today until just now so I took this one of his sister spoiling him rotten. What a good big sister!
