Like you care. But I am making myself post and don't have anything good to say.
Ok, I went through every stich of clean clothes in our closets. I went through many of our dirty laundry stashes, of which we have waaaaaay too many waiting their turn to someday be washed. I didn't get to all of them though and my laundry room doesn't really look better yet but it is much roomer with the 6 garbage bags of clothes that we removed from there. Yep, six full garbage bags, as in the big black 39 gallon bags stuffed as full as we could get them. All gone.
Ahh. nice feeling.
I accomplished about half what I want to do and about twice what I actually expected to get done so I guess we are good.
And the naked kids can find some clothes. I did finally realized that my kids that were complaining that they had no clothes to wear were telling the truth. When we finished culling dj's closet of all of things that no longer fit or had big holes in them she had one lone red shirt left and that was all. No wonder she has been wearing nothing but holey jeans for weaks now.
Time to go to the thrift store. It's tough job but somebody's gotta do it. (yippy yippy!)

awesome :) as much as a dislike the "work", i love getting rid of stuff...and then getting new stuff....it's a vicious cycle. :)
Yea! I love thrift store shopping. There's something almost magical about pouring over so much discarded 'stuff' with the anticipation of finding nuggets of gold (not in a literal sense!); and when you do find something awesome, it's like winning the lottery.....a very small lottery, perhaps, but the lottery nonetheless! ;-)
That was quite the run-on sentence! ;-Þ
